Who this is with

Roundtoe, a small independent software business in the United Kingdom, which runs the web tools listed on our home page. These terms cover every one of them. Using any of them means accepting these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you are confirming you may do so.

Your account

Keep your password to yourself and tell us promptly if you think someone else has it. You are responsible for what happens under your account. One person or organisation per account, please — you may create as many timers as you like within it.

What you may not do

• Use the service for anything unlawful, or to deceive people about a deadline that does not exist.
• Put timers in unsolicited bulk email. Send to people who asked to hear from you.
• Try to break, overload or work around the limits of the service, or resell it as your own.

We may suspend an account that does these things. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you first.

Your content is yours

The timers you create belong to you. You give us permission to store them and to display them, which is what the service does — nothing more. We claim no other rights over them.

Plans and payment

• Plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe, in US dollars, and renew automatically.
• The price you see includes any local tax. Nothing is added at checkout, wherever you are.
• Each plan includes a number of views — the number of times your timers are displayed. Timers on a website are free and unlimited on every plan.
• If you use up your allowance, your timers stop being displayed until the next period or until you move up a plan. We will email you before that happens, so it should never be a surprise.
• Prices can change, but never in the middle of a period you have already paid for. We will give you at least 30 days' notice by email.

Cancelling

Cancel whenever you like, from your billing page. Your plan then runs to the end of the period you have already paid for — a campaign already sent keeps working until then. We do not refund part months, and we will not bill you again.

If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, you normally have 14 days to change your mind about an online purchase. By starting your plan immediately you agree we may begin straight away; if you then cancel within those 14 days, we will refund you in proportion to what you have not used.

Availability, honestly

We work hard to keep the service up and we do not promise it will never be down. There is no uptime guarantee on any plan today. The service is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind.

If we are at fault, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the problem. We are not liable for lost profits or lost sales. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.

A timer shows the time remaining as calculated when it is displayed. Email software and networks can cache images, so treat a timer as a strong prompt rather than a precise clock, and do not rely on it as the only record of when an offer ends.

Ending it

You can close your account at any time from your account page. We can end this agreement with 30 days' notice, or immediately if you break these terms seriously. If we close the service down, we will give you at least 60 days' notice and refund anything you have paid for time you will not get.

Changes to these terms

If we change them in a way that matters to you, we will email you at least 30 days beforehand. Continuing to use the service after that means accepting the new version.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protections of the law where you live.
